OPEN POSITION: Medical Device Product Development Manager

We are now looking for a Product Development Manager to join our team in Tampere, Finland.

What you’ll do: 

In this position you will be responsible for: 

  • Leading and executing COPLA product development project with internal and external parties 
  • Planning and executing regulatory actions in development projects 
  • Managing complex projects, monitoring their progress and performance against the plan, identifying and resolving operational problems and minimizing delays 
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned or required 
  • Reporting product development status to the CTO 


What is your professional profile:

  • Minimum Master’s Degree in biomedical or biomaterials engineering or other relevant educational background 
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in product development under a medical device regulatory framework (preferably class III medical devices) 
  • Strong experience in project management and budgeting 
  • In-depth knowledge of MDRISO 13485 and/or other applicable regulations 
  • We also value knowledge and experience in a) GMP regulation, b) analytical method development for use in quality controlc) experience in orthopedics, d) what else should we value – you tell us!
